Case study: Filming festive fun

Filming festive fun

Our client, Harrison Beale & Owen, was keen to do something a bit different from a standard electronic Christmas card this year. After a bit of brainstorming, we suggested they consider a light-hearted fast motion video of the team decorating the Helping Hands Soup Kitchen ready for Christmas.

Helping Hands is one of the charities HB&O has supported during 2017. This Leamington Spa-based charity is focused on giving those who are homeless and vulnerable a hand up – they provide opportunities to help people get back on their feet and into work. The soup kitchen is just one of the many ways Helping Hands support those in need in Leamington.

As soon as we had the green light to go ahead, bookings were made, decorations bought and Christmas jumpers donned. Members of the HB&O team were joined by volunteers from Helping Hands and in just a couple of hours, we had all the footage we needed to create a fun video to share online. More importantly, Helping Hands was set for Christmas.

Thanks to expert filming and editing from photographer, Sally Evans, and a little poetry from CMC, the final video was ready for distribution (complete with jingle bells earworm).
